Beach Trash Art

My sculptures are created entirely from recycled materials collected during beach cleans — fragments of our consumption washed ashore. Plastic pipes, bottle tops, fishing line, nets, fruit net bags, and driftwood become the building blocks of each piece. Nearly every element has been found or reclaimed, carrying its own history of use and discard.

Through transforming these recovered objects, I aim to highlight both the resilience and fragility of our environment. What was once considered waste takes on new life, inviting reflection on our relationship with the ocean, sustainability, and the potential for renewal within the discarded.
