May 2026, Berwickshire Marine Reserve asked me to paint a
picture for their new, compacting , gull proof bin. It's been
installed in Eyemouth, to help stop gulls stealing from the bins, so
less rubbish blowing on the street , it's solar powered, and holds
around 5 - 7 times the amount of rubbish that a regular bin does.

The Seahorse Trust

From February 2025, Scapa Joe will donate 10% of each sale of seahorses and seadragons to the Seahorse Trust

Ocean Love Exhibition

We're very excited about our 'Ocean Love' exhibition at Art Unlimited , Bridport. The exhibition is a mix of paintings and sculptures , with the theme of ocean love. As a keen diver, Caroline has produced a selection of paintings embracing the beauty of ocean creatures and their interaction with consumerism. The exhibition also includes several new sculptures which are made from recycled beach trash, including fishing net, rope, line and other rubbish, which Caroline has collected, washed and recycled into art.
The Shark Trust
In 2024, The Shark Trust asked Scapa Joe to paint a piece for their Oceanic 31 charity art exhibition.
31 artists each produced a different piece of art depicting a different oceanic shark species. The Shark Trust sold prints of the artworks and then auctioned the original artworks. It was a great success, raising several thousand pounds for shark conservation. Prints are still available of ' Silky Street' and many of the other artist's prints from the Shark Trust
